RFP External Evaluator for NSF Proposal about STEM Education
Budget: $50,000 – $300,000 USD
A national scientific nonprofit organization is seeking expressions of interest from qualified research and evaluation partners for a proposed five-year project to be submitted to the National Science Foundation’s IUSE: Innovation in Two-Year and Four-Year STEM Education program. The project will develop, pilot, and evaluate a specialized Community of Transformation focused on undergraduate STEM pedagogical reform at the department and college level. The project will produce a tested self-assessment framework and accompanying CoT curriculum, piloted with up to 20 departments or colleges across two sequential cohorts over a five-year period. We are asking interested parties to describe their qualifications, relevant experience, and general approach—not to develop a detailed methodology at this stage. The selected partner will collaborate with the project team to co-design the research plan and theory of change as part of the proposal development process.
