Seeking a Distinguished Arab Scholar Specializing in Medieval Heraldry and Symbolism

We are currently seeking to collaborate with a seasoned professor or senior academic researcher of Arab nationality, specializing in medieval heraldry, sigillography, and symbolic systems—particularly those with relevance to the Middle East and Islamic civilization.

Scope of Work:
The candidate will contribute a specialized academic paper (working paper) focused on the historical roots, typologies, and evolution of emblems, crests, coats of arms, and symbolic iconography in the context of the medieval Islamic and Eastern traditions.

Requirements:
• Proven expertise in the study of heraldry, insignia, sigillography, or symbolic semiotics in medieval history.
• A strong academic portfolio, preferably with publications in both Arabic and English.
• Fluency in English (reading and writing) is mandatory.
• Capacity to deliver rigorous scholarly work under defined timelines.
• Familiarity with manuscript sources, iconographic analysis, and/or material culture of the region is a plus.
