## Tasks
- Research each ISSN ID using portal.issn.org and www.crossref.org
- Complete the database with the following information for each entry:
* Full publication title
* Country of origin
* Publisher name
* Start/end years (if available)
* Current status (active or inactive)

## Requirements

- Ability to develop or use automated tools to extract information from ISSN and Crossref databases
- Knowledge of bibliographic data structures
- Experience handling bibliographic datasets
- Strong programming skills for data processing automation

## Deliverables
A complete database with all requested information correctly matched to each ISSN ID.

## What is ISSN?
ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) is the global identification system for serials and continuing resources, providing a unique 8-digit code for each publication regardless of medium (print/digital).

## What is CrossRef?
Crossref is a not-for-profit organization that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for scholarly publications and enables cross-publisher citation linking and metadata retrieval.

## Project Approach
- I will initially provide a small test batch of ISSN numbers to evaluate your approach and output quality
- Upon successful completion of the test batch, I will share the full dataset for processing
- Your solution should be scalable to handle varying volumes of data efficiently
- Quality assurance is critical - your solution must include verification methods and accept random checks of entries as part of the acceptance criteria
- Only freelancers with proven experience in bibliographic data processing and automation should apply
- I will provide additional data sources to assist with the project
- Background knowledge of academic journals and ISSN subject classification is highly preferred
- Your solution should primarily utilize ISSN and CrossRef APIs/data, supplemented by the additional sources I will share

there are 2 files, one is the sample work needed, and the other is for the ISSN that I need you to return with all the required filed completed.

Please share examples of similar data extraction projects you've completed when applying, especially those related to academic publications or bibliographic data.
