On-Site ABB VFD Analysis and Repair
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I need an experienced ABB service engineer who can come to our plant, access both the ACS 800 and ACS 5000 series drives, pinpoint whatever is tripping them and get us running reliably again. The job is entirely on-site; I will arrange direct access to each VFD cabinet and any schematics you might request. Standard plant safety rules apply—nothing beyond the usual PPE and lock-out procedures.
Your task starts with a full diagnostic: download fault logs, inspect power sections, check cooling, and verify parameter sets against ABB recommendations. Once the root causes are clear, I expect you to carry out or guide the physical repairs—whether that involves component replacement, board swap-outs, firmware updates, or even simple parameter corrections—and then commission the drives back into service.
Deliverables
• Written diagnostic report for each drive (ACS 800 & ACS 5000)
• Corrective actions completed or clearly documented with part numbers if any items must be ordered
• Final functional test witnessed by my maintenance lead, including drive trending screens showing normal operation
