Convert Medical PDFs to Word
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Project Overview:
I am looking for a detail-oriented expert to convert approximately 13,000 pages of hospital medical records from PDF format into fully editable Microsoft Word documents. This job is converting one persons medical history . I bought Acrobat Pro to do this myself but I was advised I would need a new computer so I am outsourcing this job. I will be sending the job out in 4 attachments:

#3 …. 3,825 pages file size kb:239,050. …… .#4….3,437 pages file size kb: 237,176.
Key Requirements:
• Software Expertise: Must use Adobe Acrobat Pro or ABBYY FineReader for high-quality OCR (Optical Character Recognition).
• Formatting: Minimal formatting required. Maintain original document structure, including page numbers, footers, and margins.
• Accuracy: Manual verification of text is required to fix common OCR errors, especially for medical terminology and numeric data.
• Organization: Large files must be split and processed in manageable batches (e.g., 500 pages each) to ensure file stability.
Deliverables:
1. A 100-page free trial sample to be reviewed and approved by client re: verify formatting and OCR quality before the project gets final approval.
2. The complete 13,000-page set delivered in organized Word (.docx) files of no more than 500 pages plus a final 13,000 page set .
