Clean Handwritten Markings from PDFs
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have two sizeable PDF manuals that are peppered with highlightings and assorted handwritten comments in several colours. I need every trace of those marks removed while keeping the underlying text, formatting and pagination intact. Nothing should be spared—every highlight stroke and scribbled note has to disappear—so I can circulate a pristine, professional-looking document.
The files are already OCR-ready, and I would like the job carried out inside ABBYY FineReader (or an equally capable alternative you can justify) so the final PDFs remain fully searchable. When you deliver, I expect the page count, bookmarks and internal links to match the originals exactly, with clean margins and no artefacts from the erasure process.
Deliverables
• Two revised PDFs, same filenames plus “_clean” suffix, fully searchable
• A brief note on the exact FineReader steps or settings you used, in case I need to replicate the workflow later
If this sounds straightforward to you and you are comfortable working in FineReader, I’m ready to share the documents.
Altogether these 2 documents have roughly 250 pages and some drawings (also affected) of which about 50 pages affected are affected.
Attached is one page with minor highlights and a page with the most notes and highlights as examples.
I would need an NDA to be signed first.
