Steel Structural FEA Analysis

Job ID: 40616248

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

I need a detailed finite-element evaluation on a steel structure, with a clear focus on both stress-strain behaviour and dynamic performance. Your task is to set up, run, and interpret simulations that reveal critical stress concentrations, overall displacement, natural frequencies, and mode shapes.

Please work in a mainstream solver such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or a comparable professional tool, and keep the original CAD geometry intact so that results can be correlated with future design updates.

Deliverables should be concise and ready for hand-off to my design team:
• A short written report (PDF) explaining model assumptions, boundary conditions, mesh strategy, and key findings for static and vibration cases.
• Colour-contour plots and animated mode-shape files.
• Source files of the solved model so we can reproduce or refine the study later.

I will review the report against accepted steel-design criteria; if the stress limits or frequency targets are not met, we may iterate once for optimisation. Let me know your preferred software and estimated turnaround when you submit your bid.
