I would like to clarify the following regarding the last ....:
At the beginning of autoclaving, water vapour is let into the autoclave. This increases the temperature and pressure up to a certain point (usually 14 bar), where this phase ends (heating phase) and the next phase begins. During this phase (hold phase) the pressure and temperature should be constant. After some time this phase ends and the next phase begins. Here we release the water vapour. to zero bar.

Where the blue arrows are, here the water vapour goes into the autoclave along the pipe.
In red the water vapour goes out at the end of the autoclave.
