Civil FEA Results Interpretation Help
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have already built, meshed, and solved a finite-element model in Abaqus for a civil-engineering assignment, but I am struggling to make sense of the output. What I need now is clear, defensible interpretation of the results—specifically the stress and strain fields—presented as easy-to-read graphical plots that I can drop straight into my report.
The ODB file and a brief description of the loading scenario are ready to share. Once you open the file, I would like you to extract the relevant stress components (von Mises, principal, and any other critical values you deem important), annotate key regions, and explain why the observed patterns make structural sense.
Deliverables
• High-resolution contour plots and section cuts that highlight peak stresses and critical strain zones
• A short explanatory note beside each figure (one or two sentences is enough) that connects the visual to the underlying structural behaviour
• Any Python viewer scripts or Abaqus session files you use so I can reproduce the plots later
If you prefer another plotting tool—Matplotlib, Paraview, Tecplot—that’s fine as long as the images are clear and reproducible. Accuracy and clarity matter more than length; I need to be able to defend every plot during my presentation.
