The CAD geometry is already finished in SolidWorks and exported (STEP and native files). I now want to see how it behaves under impact, so your job is to bring that model into Abaqus and run a full dynamic-explicit simulation focused on impact response.

Key points to cover
• Cleanly import the geometry, repair if needed, and create a solid mesh suitable for high-speed contact events.
• Assign a hyperelastic material law; I will supply the test data curves, but you may need to fit them in Abaqus/CAE.
• Define contact, boundary conditions, initial velocity or impact energy, and an appropriate analysis step so that the results capture stresses, strains, and deformation history without excessive run time.
• Provide contour plots, time-history graphs, and the complete .cae/.odb files so I can review and re-run the study.

Acceptance criteria
1. The simulation runs without errors or mass scaling warnings.
2. Maximum element distortion remains within Abaqus recommendations.
3. Results replicate expected trend from similar tests (I’ll share benchmark numbers).
