ABAQUS Finite Element Modeling

Job ID: 40321036

Budget: $100 – $200 AUD

Description:
I am looking for an experienced Abaqus freelancer to develop a finite element model of a helical pile embedded in sand, focusing on precompression and uplift behavior.

Scope of Work:

Create a working Abaqus model (soil–pile interaction)
Apply precompression displacement followed by uplift loading
Use kinematic coupling at the pile head (reference point)
Properly define contact interaction between pile and soil (no unrealistic penetration or separation issues)
Ensure model runs without errors and produces stable results

Required Outputs:

Reaction force vs displacement curves (for both precompression and uplift displacements)
Stress contours in soil and along pile
Evidence of load transfer along shaft and helix
Clear visualization of contact behavior

Deliverables:

Abaqus .cae file
.inp file
.odb results file
Short note explaining how developed (part, material, contact, steps, interaction and mesh)etc

Timeline:

3 days maximum (model should be ready and working)

Requirements:

Strong experience in Abaqus (Standard/Explicit)
Prior work in geotechnical or soil–structure interaction preferred
Ability to troubleshoot contact and convergence issues
