CRO Specialist for Sales Optimization

Job ID: 39617476

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

We’re looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Analyst / Specialist to support our new product’s growth and experimentation efforts on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in CRO who excels at spotting patterns, uncovering testing opportunities, and generating ideas for A/B and multivariate tests. You’ll report to a senior growth leader and the Head of Conversion, focusing on research and ideas for our experimentation pipeline.

This is a support role—perfect for a detail-oriented and resourceful individual who thrives on discovery and structured thinking rather than running a full CRO program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support optimization of new product landing pages, including proposing structural, design, and copy changes to improve conversion
• Analyze and generate testing ideas for new product member intake experiences (quiz-style questionnaires) to increase completion rate and quality of leads
• Set up and QA experiments in VWO (Visual Website Optimizer) under direction from the CRO lead
• Maintain a structured backlog of test ideas, hypotheses, and performance insights
• Conduct ongoing research (quantitative and qualitative) to uncover new CRO testing opportunities across the site experience
• Review analytics dashboards, session recordings, heatmaps, and user flows to identify friction points or drop-offs
• Brainstorm and propose A/B and multivariate testing ideas to feed into the experimentation roadmap
• Write clear, actionable test outlines and briefs to support execution by the broader team

QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 3 years of experience working in CRO, experimentation, or digital optimization
• Solid hands-on experience with VWO for setting up tests and configuring targeting
• Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, and similar platforms for research
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills—you’re great at spotting patterns and asking “what if”
• Experience writing clear, concise outlines or specs for A/B or multivariate tests
• Comfortable working in a supporting role within a broader growth or product team
• Some familiarity with HTML/CSS is helpful but not required
