# Accessibility Audit & VPAT/ACR Report for Angular Application

## Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced accessibility consultant to perform a comprehensive accessibility audit of our enterprise web application and prepare a formal VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) / Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR).

Our application is production-ready and built using Angular 15. The application contains approximately 200 routes/pages; however, many of these pages share common layouts, components, and workflows. We are looking for someone who can assess the application using industry best practices and provide a professional accessibility compliance report.

## Application Details

* Framework: Angular 15 (TypeScript)
* Application Type: Enterprise Single Page Application (SPA)
* Approximate Size: ~200 routes/pages
* Environment: Secure staging environment will be provided
* Third-Party Components and Libraries include:

* AG Grid
* Handsontable
* CKEditor
* ng-select
* Other Angular UI components and custom-developed widgets

The accessibility assessment should include both custom-developed functionality and all relevant third-party integrations used throughout the application.

## Scope of Work

We are looking for a thorough accessibility assessment that includes:

### Automated Testing

You may use tools such as:

* Axe
* Deque Attest
* Lighthouse
* WAVE
* Any other industry-standard accessibility testing tools

### Manual Testing

Automated scans alone will not be sufficient.

The assessment should include:

* Keyboard-only navigation testing
* Focus management verification
* Screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS if available)
* Form validation and error handling
* Dialogs and modals
* Data grids and tables
* Dropdowns and autocomplete controls
* Rich text editors
* Dynamic Angular content
* Accessibility of third-party components and integrations

## Standards & Compliance

We have not yet finalized which accessibility standard we want to target. Please recommend the most appropriate option based on your experience and explain your reasoning.

Examples include:

* WCAG 2.1 AA
* WCAG 2.2 AA
* Section 508
* EN 301 549

Preference will be given to candidates with experience producing VPAT 2.5+ compliant documentation and Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs).

## Expected Deliverables

1. Completed VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report (latest template version)
2. Executive summary of findings
3. Detailed list of accessibility issues identified
4. Severity classification for each issue
5. Recommended remediation guidance for developers
6. Coverage matrix showing the pages, workflows, and components assessed
7. Final walkthrough session (or written handoff document) explaining findings and recommended next steps

## Proposal Requirements

Please include:

* Relevant accessibility certifications and experience
* Previous VPAT / ACR experience
* Examples of similar projects completed
* Proposed timeline
* Estimated effort/hours
* Testing methodology
* Any access requirements
* Whether you also provide remediation consulting/support

## Questions to Answer in Your Proposal

To help us evaluate your experience and approach, please answer the following questions:

### 1. VPAT vs ACR

What is the difference between a VPAT and an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR)? Which deliverable would you recommend for our application and why?

### 2. Estimated Effort and Timeline

Based on the information provided:

* What is your estimated effort (hours)?
* What is your estimated timeline?
* What assumptions are you making while preparing this estimate?

### 3. Scope and Page Coverage

Our application contains approximately 200 routes/pages, although many pages share the same layouts, components, and workflows.

Please explain:

* Would you assess all 200 pages individually?
* How would you identify representative pages and reusable components?
* How would you ensure sufficient coverage of shared components such as AG Grid, Handsontable, CKEditor, ng-select, forms, dialogs, tables, and other common UI patterns?

### 4. Testing Methodology

Please describe your approach for:

* Automated testing
* Manual accessibility testing
* Keyboard accessibility testing
* Screen reader testing
* Validation of third-party components

### 5. Experience with Complex UI Components

Have you previously audited AG Grid, Handsontable, CKEditor, ng-select, or similar complex JavaScript/UI components?

If yes:

* Which components have you audited?
* What accessibility issues do you commonly encounter with these components?
* How do you typically validate them?

### 6. Previous Work

Please provide examples of previous VPAT/ACR engagements, especially for Angular, React, Vue, or other modern SPA applications.

### 7. Sample Deliverables

If possible, please share a redacted sample VPAT/ACR or an example of the reporting format you typically provide.

We are looking for someone with proven experience auditing modern web applications and producing high-quality, compliance-ready accessibility documentation rather than relying solely on automated scanning tools.
