Tivimate-Style IPTV Player Development

Job ID: 40484637

Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD

I am building a custom IPTV application for big-screen Android devices and need an experienced Android developer to take it from concept to a polished, store-ready APK. The player must run flawlessly on Android TV, Amazon Firestick, and Walmart’s Google ONN boxes.

Core focus
Live TV playback is the top priority, so I want ExoPlayer integrated natively for smooth, adaptive streaming. Stalker Middleware and Xtream Codes portals have to authenticate quickly, with a randomly generated MAC address created for each new server profile.

User experience
The interface should feel instantly familiar to Tivimate users—sleek grid EPG, bold channel logos, and remote-friendly navigation. Standard TV controls (D-pad, long-press context menu, colored buttons) should be wired up for effortless zapping, adding to Favorites, launching the advanced search, or tweaking settings.

Key capabilities to build
• Auto MAC generation when a user adds a portal
• Modern Live TV screen with channel list + mini EPG overlay
• Full-screen, scrollable 7-day EPG guide with program info cards
• Favorites manager, universal search, and multi-server switcher
• Persistent playback while browsing
• Robust settings page (buffer size, time-shift, parental lock, etc.)

Deliverables & acceptance
1. Signed, installable APK tested on Android TV 10+, Fire OS 7+, and Google ONN.
2. Complete Android Studio project with clear build instructions.
3. README documenting portal setup, MAC algorithm, and any open-source licenses.
4. Two-week post-delivery bug-fix window covering playback, EPG, and portal login issues.

If you have shipped similar TV-first media apps and are comfortable with ExoPlayer, Stalker APIs, and complex EPG rendering, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
