Structural Engineering for Space Inside of a Pole Barn
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm in the early stages of planning a residential construction project and require a seasoned structural engineer. You need to be a licensed engineer in Washington or Oregon
Here is what I need a design and the minimal details drawings for:
1. We plan to add partition walls inside an existing wood-framed pole building, using wood framing,
2. The space above the partitions will be used for storage.
3. The attachment of the decking (ceiling structure) to the poles needs to be designed (rim joist, bearing, ceiling joists, decking
4. The current floor is only 4" thick, fiber-reinforced, so a revised poured concrete footing needs to be designed for the interior bearing walls.
I have the stamped drawings for the pole barn, site plan sketches, and concrete slab specs. This will be an unpermitted modification, in an unincorporated area. The building is not a residence.
