Structural Certification for Steel Buildings
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I’m looking for an experienced, chartered structural engineer who can take my steel-shed and industrial-building concepts and turn them into stamped, construction-ready documentation. All modelling, analysis and optimisation must comply with AS/NZS 1170, AS 4100 and AS 3600, and the end product has to be both cost-efficient and delivered quickly—speed is as important to me as keeping the tonnage down.
What I will hand over:
• Architectural / GA drawings and any site data we have
• A direct line to our in-house drafter (so you can flag any tweaks early)
What I need back:
• Full structural analysis and member sizing for portal frames, footings and critical connections
• Detailed calculation package suitable for third-party review or council submission
• Formal certification confirming compliance with the above codes
Workshop or fabrication drawings are handled internally, so you can focus purely on engineering. Clear communication is essential; I like quick email or Teams check-ins to keep things moving.
