Steel Wedding Hall Structural Design

Job ID: 40064741

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I’m developing a large-capacity wedding hall and need a complete steel structure design that will stand up to both aesthetic expectations and rigorous building codes. The concept is a commercial-grade venue accommodating roughly 1,000 guests, so the frame must span an open, column-free banquet area, integrate mezzanines for VIP seating, and allow for high ceiling treatments, lighting rigs, and HVAC runs.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Full structural calculations and load analysis (live, dead, wind, seismic) compliant with the applicable local code
• Detailed GA drawings, connection details, and fabrication drawings ready for a steel fabricator
• A 3D model in Tekla Structures or equivalent (I’m flexible on software as long as IFC export is clean)
• Material take-off / bill of materials for tendering
• Brief design report that explains assumptions, safety factors, and any architecturally driven compromises

I already have the site survey and architectural floor plan in DWG—those will be in your inbox the moment we start. If you foresee any specialty items (long-span trusses, composite decking, vibration damping for the dance floor) flag them early so we can align with the architect.

Deliver the preliminary scheme in two weeks, followed by a review cycle and then the final, signed-off package. I’ll consider the job complete once a licensed structural engineer stamps the drawings or provides a letter of professional responsibility, depending on your jurisdiction.

If you have recent commercial steel projects in your portfolio—especially event halls or similar occupancy—please send a link; it helps me move faster on the award.
