Square-to-Reel Video Conversion & Tutorial
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I have a square, 360-degree showcase of a diamond ring that I need reformatted into a vertical 9:16 reel—clean, crisp, and completely free of the black bars that appear top and bottom when the aspect ratio is wrong.
Your first task is to handle the conversion yourself and send back a high-quality sample so I can see that the framing, resolution, and playback are perfect. Once that’s done, I’d like you to walk me through every step of the process on a Windows PC so I can repeat it confidently on future projects. I’m open to whichever editor you feel is best—Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut, even a reliable free option—as long as it runs smoothly on Windows and doesn’t reduce video clarity.
Deliverables:
• First 9:16 reel ready for Instagram or TikTok, no letterboxing, same visual fidelity as the original
• Second 9:16 reel ready for instagram or TikTok but with specifications of the right at the top (carat size, cut, and price)
• A clear, repeatable tutorial (screen-share session, annotated screenshots, or concise PDF) showing how to achieve the same result on Windows, including export settings and any plug-ins or resizing tricks you use
