SEEDS is a curated marketplace selling premium domain names bundled with fully-developed business ideas. Each domain (we call them “Seeds”) comes with:
A unique business concept
A detailed business plan
A 90-day launch playbook
Non-subscribers see only a teaser and the option to buy the domain. Subscribers unlock the full plan, early access to new Seeds, and a newsletter.
Primary Goal
This is a lean MVP to validate the concept and start acquiring early subscribers and buyers.
Scope of Work (Version 1)
Please quote for the full delivery of the following scope:
Site Structure (4–6 pages total)
Homepage – Clean, minimal layout showcasing featured Seeds
Seed Listing Pages – Each Seed as its own custom post, with gated content
Subscription Page – Explains member benefits + checkout
Blog – Simple blog for founder posts and updates
About / Contact – Optional, depending on layout needs
Core Features
WordPress-based site (must use WordPress)
Use of an off-the-shelf theme is fine, as long as it fits the brief
Custom Post Type for Seeds (to allow structured, scalable listings)
Teaser content shown to all users (domain + short idea)
Full content gated for logged-in subscribers (business plan + 90-day launch plan + bonus materials)
“Add to Basket” purchase option for all users (with domain pricing)
10% automatic discount for subscribers at checkout
Manual domain transfer post-purchase (you don’t need to automate this—just trigger confirmation emails)
Instant email alerts to subscribers when a new Seed is published
Email signup + newsletter integration
Payment setup for:
Monthly subscription: $10/month
Annual subscription: $60/year
One-off domain purchases ($250–$5,000 typical range)
HubSpot integration (newsletter + basic CRM tracking)
Tech Notes
You’ll install the chosen theme, configure plugins, and implement content gating/paywall
You can use WooCommerce or another ecommerce plugin—whatever fits the above requirements cleanly
I will handle:
Hosting
Domain setup
WordPress installation
Brand/logo assets (provided separately)
Reference Style
Design direction: minimal, clean, professional
Comparable inspiration: GoDaddy.com for clarity and product-first UX
Deliverables
Fully functional site with 3 pre-built Seed listings (dummy content)
Admin backend allowing me to easily add/edit future Seeds
