Revise and run Abaqus Numerical models for RC and PT slabs strengthened with CFRP and jacketing
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Here's what the project requires:
- Numerical modelling for reinforced concrete slabs and for post tensioned slabs, strengthened with Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) strips . It required to get load-deflection curves for each specimen and conform with my experimental load deflection curve for each specimen.
It is very important to specify the mode of failure, strain of steel , CFRP and concrete at failure - occurance of debonding of CFRP or not and the contact stress at failure.
Given that the software in focus is Abaqus, you should have:
- Proficiency in using Abaqus for modelling and analysis
- Ability to perform high-level detailing with exact measurements
The project will involve:
- Conducting Nonlinear static analysis on the slabs
Your solid understanding of structural engineering principles and proficiency in Abaqus will help in successfully creating these numerical models. Looking forward to working with a knowledgeable and experienced engineer, who can efficiently carry out this specific task.
