Reverse engineer game data packets (TCP)
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We're seeking a skilled data engineer to help us decrypt game packets so that we can build a stats website for popular new videogame, Marvel Rivals. We've been given the thumbs-up to go ahead with this project.
This game does not yet have a public API access point due to time constraints by the dev team, so we need someone who can perform packet analysis and reverse engineer the game's authentication and polling protocols, so that we can ultimately create our own system which can poll the game servers for information like player stats and match history.
The game operates in a similar fashion to many online multiplayer titles: After logging in, you are able to look at your own or other player's career pages which feature their lifetime statistics, as well as their match history with details of those matches and players involved.
Here's an example of what we're looking to replicate with the data you help us acquire:

We're looking to be able to:
- Log in and authenticate with the game servers
- Be able to lookup a given player by username
- Retrieve a player's statistics and match history
- Fetch the details of a match by its ID
We need you to decipher and determine the methods we need to use to extract relevant data from the game servers.
We've seen first-hand that skilled engineers have been able to do this within a couple days of work and tinkering, so we're confident that you'll be able to decrypt and document the protocols quickly if you already have experience with this.
If you have prior proven experience in this specific job, that's a huge plus, so tell us the work you did.
