Resolve WPML & Indexing Glitches
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
My multilingual WordPress site runs on WPML, and the translations are saved correctly in the back-end yet refuse to appear on the front-end. Visitors are shown the default language instead of the translated content, so I need a developer who can trace and correct whatever is blocking WPML from rendering those versions.
Alongside that, Google Search Console is reporting multiple indexing problems—alternate-language pages are stuck in “Crawled – currently not indexed,” and some hreflang tags look mismatched. Once the translation display is fixed, I want the sitemap, robots.txt, and on-page hreflang output double-checked so every language variant can be crawled and indexed properly.
Deliverables
1. Diagnose and fix the WPML “translation not displaying correctly” issue.
2. Audit theme/plugins for conflicts and apply clean, update-safe patches.
3. Repair any sitemap, robots.txt, or hreflang problems preventing proper indexing.
4. Test across all existing languages, confirming pages, posts, and navigation show the right version.
5. Provide a short report summarising what was changed and any future maintenance tips.
WordPress 6.x, WPML, Yoast SEO, and standard debugging tools (Query Monitor, Debug Bar, Search Console) should be used as needed. I can grant staging and production access right away and will be on standby for quick feedback while you work.
