React Native Shop Mini App Build Help
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a full React Native code-base for Shopify's "shop mini app" that targets both iOS and Android. The original developer disappeared before handing me a clean, repeatable build process, so I’m stalled at the “first compile" stage on my computer. (previous developer has disappeared so I have the repo, but don't have my local environment setup properly).
Here’s what I need from you: walk me through getting the project to build again, clean up any dependency warnings, and remove a set of now-deprecated scope permissions that appeared after recent SDK changes (we don’t actually use those scopes, so it should just be a matter of trimming and testing).
I will give you GitHub access to the private repo along with any store certificates, Firebase keys, or config files you require. I’m an experienced developer, so screen-sharing or pair-programming sessions will be good —this is more about knowledge transfer and troubleshooting than long-term coding (though if you are interested and it works out, we are actively looking for a long term developer as well)
Success for this task means:
• Fresh release builds that have been checked for the deprecated scopes.
• Clear, step-by-step notes (README or Markdown) so I can reproduce the build on my own machine
• Any updated package.json, Podfile, Gradle, or native module tweaks committed back to the repo
