RCB Enclosure & Low-Voltage Wiring Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I'm looking for an experienced electronic CAD designer to help with an RCB enclosure and wiring layout for a low-voltage system. This project involves creating a comprehensive design for the housing, wiring, and connection points.
To design a complete PCB enclosure (RCB housing) and wiring layout for your ESP32-based fire detection system, the designer will need details on all physical components that will be housed or connected.
Core Electronics Inside the Housing:
1. ESP32 board (or custom ESP32-based PCB)
2. SIM7600 or Quectel EC25 4G module
3. Power supply or battery pack
e.g. 2x 5000mAh Li-ion batteries (for Comodo/Protector)
4. Sensor connections:
Flame sensor
RoR (Rate of Rise) heat sensor
VOC/gas sensor (e.g., SGP40)
---
Connectivity & I/O Components:
5. Antenna ports (for 4G module)
6. SIM card slot access
7. Micro-USB or Barrel Jack (for external power or firmware flashing)
8. LED indicators (status lights for power, signal, fault, fire detection)
9. Push button/reset switch (optional)
---
Mechanical & Wiring Considerations:
10. Terminal blocks or screw connectors (for sensor/power wiring)
11. Mounting posts or rails (for internal board fixing)
12. Ventilation holes (for sensors, heat dissipation)
13. Waterproofing/Weatherproofing design (if outdoors)
14. Cable strain relief ports (for external wiring)
---
Optional Add-ons Depending on Model:
Camera module (OV2640) for image capture
MicroSD card slot (for data logging)
Speaker or buzzer (for alarm sound)
GSM/GPS add-ons (if Guardian system is involved)
