3D-Print Magnetic Nose Plate
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a printable 3D model for a small “nose work” magnetic pair plate that will ultimately be produced in PLA. The finished part must measure 1 5/8" (H) × 7/8" (W) with a depth of 1 3/16" at the bottom. Inside that footprint there is a food tray area that stays within 7/8" (W) × 5/16" (D).
A 30 mm × 10 mm × 3 mm magnet must sit hidden in the rear panel so the whole plate can clip securely onto a metal tin. I would like the geometry set up so the magnet is hidden within the back panel and cannot shift.
I’m after the final, print-ready STL. Please keep overhangs reasonable for standard FDM printing and orient features so supports are minimal.
Acceptance criteria
• Magnet cavity sized for a snug press-fit
• Food tray edges smooth and dog-safe
• Delivered files: STL + source CAD
If you have questions about wall thickness, print orientation, or other PLA-related considerations, feel free to ask. I've attached EXAMPLE pictures of what I would like. They cannot be exactly the same. I don't want to spend more than $50 US.
