Pokémon Card Shorts Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I shoot vertical Pokémon-card-opening clips that need to be turned into punchy, 30–60-second Shorts for TikTok and YouTube. Your job is to shape the raw footage into that familiar, binge-worthy style collectors love.
Here’s exactly what I’m after. As each rare is revealed, I want its current TCGplayer market price to pop up on screen—timed to the frame—using clean, subtle text so it never distracts from the pull. The overall pacing should rely on simple cuts; no fancy wipes, just tight edits that keep the pack-to-pull flow snappy. Because there’s no voice-over, lay in a light, chilled-lofi music bed and balance it so it never drowns out the tactile sounds of the cards.
I lean on two kinds of SFX: authentic shuffles/flips when sleeves hit the table and the occasional playful cartoon pop for emphasis. Please analyze high-performing Pokémon card-opening channels and borrow the micro-sound bites that make reveals feel satisfying.
You’ll be working with 3k60fps footage; deliver the finished clip plus the project file so I can tweak if prices spike. Editors who already know the difference between an Alt-Art and a Secret Rare will click fastest with the material, but solid research skills on TCGplayer are just as valuable.
Deliverables
• 1 polished vertical short (TikTok + YT ready, H.264, 60 fps)
• On-screen price callouts aligned to each pull
• Minimal captions for any on-screen text or reactions, opening captions and closing captions should be included as well as the free giveaway for the Crown Zenith ETB.
• Lofi music bed and layered SFX as described
• Source project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci, or Final Cut)
If you can hit that energetic yet cozy vibe the community loves, let’s talk—this will turn into a steady stream of business and pack openings :)
I would like to work with someone who has experience in this field and is not afraid to offer their expert opinion.
