Package dynamic content (multi languages) on Illustrator
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We need to build a proof of concept to learn if a given tool will be useful for our company and implement in our packaging designing process.
In order to do so I need a graphic designer with package design expertise. He/she must be well versed in Adobe Illustrator and its plugins. Job description:
1. Based on a Excel sheet containing translation to a package label saying, the designer will have to generate: a XML file containing the different language version to be applied on the package. The Excel sheet will contain 5 languages (all written from left to right):
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- English
- Polish
- Greek
2. Based on an existing trilingual AI artwork (sample attached) I'll share the designer will have to map the artwork with the correct placeholders for the label sayings in different languages sheet.
3. Each block of text in the excel sheet will be numbered. Each block of text in the AI file will be numbered as well (for easy correspondence)
4. The deliverables will be:
- Recorded screen capture video training showing how to:
-- switch to languages in a given package. E.g.: How to create a package with Portuguese, Spanish and English languages, or English, Portuguese, Polish; or Greek, English, Portuguese, etc. How to switch from one to the other.
- XML file
- AI file with all Esko Dynamic Content mapping
- PDF file
Software:
- Must use Adobe Illustrator
- Must use Esko Dynamic Content plugin (use the trial version if you don't own it already)
