Optimize STEP Model for 5-Axis CNC
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a skilled CAD specialist to take my existing 3D STEP file and make it truly 5-axis-machinable. The part already captures the overall design intent.
Preferred tools: SolidWorks, NX, Fusion 360, CATIA, or any package that exports a standards-compliant AP214 / AP242 STEP file.
Acceptance criteria
- Can be purchased via JLCPCB or PCBway
- Fix up screw holes to be tapped with M2 threads (currently part is designed to take 3D printed inserts)
- Model (4 parts, front, back and trigger brackets) become CNC machinable
- No other change to other cutouts
