Title: Should we live forever?
No.
Issue 1. If we did, we’d need a bigger planet. If no one ever died, imagine how many people there would be on Earth by now. So many that even if we placed all humans side by side, there’d still not be enough room probably.
Issue 2. Imagine how many people you’d meet in your life, how many friends you’d have (imagine how many birthdays you’d have to remember!), how many new jobs you’d have to learn and do as times change. I can only imagine, it would be very tiring after a while and it would get boring. Like going to a summer camp, and then having to stay there forever. Terrible! After a while you’d feel, surely, that that’s enough of that, can we go home now.
We should not live forever and I think it’s a relief to know that one day it will finally end and we get to rest.
