ONLINE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
MEMGAS is a renowned gas company with various gas plants and distribution network across the Philippines. As a commitment to customers and in order to evolve with the modern technology, MEMGAS has taken upon itself to develop an Online Distribution System for their products.
System Architecture:
1. Web based interface available as downloadable apps for both Android and iOS; optionally, desktop users can also access the online portal via a dedicated website
2. Super Admin interface to monitor, override and control all activities of all users
3. Distributor interface to manage inventory, orders, customers, drivers, vehicles, deliveries, etc
4. Customer interface to place orders, view purchase history, manage payments, view live delivery status on map
5. Driver interface to carry on deliveries, view real time location on map, send and receive messages between all parties, etc
6. Inventory shall be automatically increased/reduced upon purchase/sales
7. Cancellation or failed delivery and subsequent refund of payment and adjustment of inventory should be allowed for
8. Products include only goods but provision for services should also be made
9. Products should be listed along with their names, description, pics, dimensions, weight
10. All products should be categorized and serialized; details will be provided by MEMGAS
11. Ticket system for problems/complaints for all parties
12. Ranking system for drivers and customers
13. Provision for tips for drivers
14. Customers can have up to 10 different addresses, last used should be on top
15. Customers can select drivers, last used should be on top
16. Driver’s gps locations should be stored in database from start to finish of each order execution
System Features:
1. 100% web based system for all interfaces
2. All interfaces are available on webview apps published on Play Store and Apple Store
3. All interfaces should be sized to fit both smart phones and tablets in both orientations
4. Live Map – using Google Maps API
5. Live communication between all parties
6. Omission of duplicate data to reduce database size
7. Interface 1: Super Admin – Multiple Users
8. Interface 2: Admin – All privileges as Super Admin except delete
9. Interface 3: Customers
10. Interface 4: Distributors
11. Interface 5: Drivers
12. Summarized and Detailed reports for all levels
13. Notifications / Alarms for delivery related issues, low inventory, etc

Customer: Creates an Account -> Signs in -> Changes personal details -> Changes Payment Source -> Browses items -> Adds to basket -> Selects Address -> Selects Driver -> Selects Payment -> Places Order -> Monitors delivery status -> Ranks delivery / service -> Adds tips -> Browses order history -> Reorders -> Execute Reports
Super Admin: Signs in -> Changes personal details -> Approves new user requests -> Manages All inventory -> Managers All Orders -> Manages All customers, distributors, drivers, etc -> Views locations of all drivers -> Execute Reports
Distributor: Creates an Account -> Signs in -> Changes personal details -> Changes Payment Receive Source -> Browses Inventory -> Browses Driver -> Browses Order -> Monitors delivery status -> Browses order history -> Execute Reports
Driver: Creates an Account -> Signs in -> Changes personal details -> Browses Order -> Monitors delivery status -> Browses order history -> Execute Reports
System Technology:
1. Apps should be built using Android Studio and Xcode
2. Maps should be Google Map API
3. Database should be NoSQL based preferably MongoDB
4. Interface should be HTML5 with CSS3 and JavaScript ES2022
5. Server system should be built on NodeJS
6. HTTPS deployment should be done prior
7. Strictly Linux based Servers
