Ongoing Social Media Manager – Multi-Platform (Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook Groups)

Role: Organic Growth & Traffic Acquisition Manager (Affiliate Website)

1. Role Overview

Responsible for driving targeted traffic to a pet affiliate website using four organic channels:

Pinterest
TikTok
YouTube (Shorts + long-form)
Facebook Groups

The goal is to generate consistent, high-intent traffic that converts into Amazon affiliate clicks and blog engagement.

Success is measured by:

Traffic to website (sessions from social)
Click-through rate to blog content
Growth of social channels
Engagement quality (saves, shares, comments)
Affiliate link clicks (where tracked)
2. Core Responsibilities (All Platforms)
Content Repurposing
Turn each blog post into multi-platform content assets:
Pins
Short videos
YouTube Shorts
Facebook discussion content
Traffic Generation
Every post must have a clear purpose: drive users to a specific article or category page.
Consistency
Maintain daily posting activity across platforms.
SEO + Keyword Alignment
Use keyword research provided or independently sourced:
“best dog harness UK”
“cat scratching solutions”
“puppy essentials checklist”
Reporting

Weekly report including:

Posts published per platform
Traffic driven to website
Best performing content
Growth metrics per channel
Recommendations for improvement
3. Platform-Specific Responsibilities
A. Pinterest Manager (Evergreen Traffic Engine)
Objective:

Generate long-term, search-based traffic to blog content.

Responsibilities:
Create 5–10 pins per blog post
Design pins using Canva (or equivalent)
Write SEO-optimised titles and descriptions
Organise boards by category:
Dog Care
Cat Care
Training
Product Reviews
Optimise for Pinterest search keywords
Posting Frequency:
5–15 pins per day minimum
New content must be pinned for at least 30 days after blog publish
Requirements:
Keyword research for each pin

Objective:

Responsibilities:

Film or source footage (stock allowed if needed)

Only post links when contextually relevant
Build authority profile (not promotional spam account)

Strong communication skills
