Mobile/Tablet app for Weight scale reporting and printing barcode data.
Budget: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 INR
I require a mobile or a tablet application which does the following steps for reporting the weight scale data as the items are weighted on the scale
1. Prepare a database of itemcodes and item names by a master user which will be entered by us.
1.2 This database will be updated every week for adding new items
2. Before the items are kept on the scale The sub users should be able to should scan a 1D barcode which contains the item code ( the devices camera should be able to scan the barcode but the sheet containes multiple barcodes so there might be an error while scaning a specific barcode as there are many of them on that sheet ) Alternatively i am open to using a barcode scanner attached to the device to scab for the same.
2.1. check the database for the name of the itemcode scanned and display the item name so it can be weighed
3. As the items of that item code are kept on the weighing scale the weight scale shows the weight we need to get the weight scale data from the weighing scale in real time. ( the weighing scale has a bluetooth transmitter which transmits the weight data)
4. After all the items are kept on the scale , once we click on a button we need to capture the final weight and Display another 1D barcode which uses a CONCAT function which will report the item name and the weight with a comma in between
(Example item code - "2277744838" weight of that item is 223.5kgs then the output barcode must show : "2277744838,223.5" and also print the item name next to it.
5. Option to take a photo ( with a option the crop the photo immidiately) of the items on the weighing scale and save it in our database with the other available data
6. Once this is done we need a button after which we should be able to add another item and repeat the same process.
7. Once all the items are added we need a final save button we can prepare the pdf report which will consist of all the items weighed with their barcodes and the item wise weights of all the items and their totals. We should be able to print or share the pdf file.
8. Once we click on the final save button a pdf file needs to be generated of all the collected data like item code item name and the final concentrated data barcode printed one by one of all the items on the list.
9. We have multiple weight scales so we need an option to open another window to capture the data from another scale to weight another order simultaneously. The final sheet will consist of the weight scale number.
Please note : multiple images of the items can be taken for one order which are to be be saved on the database.
We need 3 users.
1. Admin who has all rights such as adding item codes modifications deleting and viewing
2. Weight scale operators who can create the weight data
3. Only viewers of the pdf who can only view and print the pdf
We are already doing this on a custom built system so we have a lot of samples photos and videos of the item printouts and working which we will show if you are intersted to take this project.
We are open to test the app on multiple stages like weight scale and barcode reader bluetooth connection test and barcode scanning
The GUI or the UI can be basic as the app will be used only internally with only selected users
We can provide you with sample pdf of the barcode slip which you can use to scan for step 2.
