Migration of 20 Websites from Dedicated Server to Shared Hosting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Hi, I need help migrating around 20 websites from a dedicated server with cPanel to a shared hosting plan, also with cPanel access. All sites are currently live, and I want them to continue working properly after the migration.
✅ Key Details:
Approximately 20 websites.
Both the current server and new hosting use cPanel.
No redesign or optimization needed — just a complete and functional migration.
Some websites use MySQL databases, plugins, or have specific configurations.
The new hosting account is already set up and ready to receive the sites.
No email accounts need to be migrated — only the websites.
? Goal:
Ensure that all websites:
Are migrated successfully.
Work properly after the move.
Retain their configurations and databases.
Load correctly with their domains from the new hosting environment.
? What I Expect from the Freelancer:
Experience with cPanel-to-cPanel website migrations.
Careful handling of files and databases to avoid any loss or errors.
Ability to troubleshoot and fix common post-migration issues (permissions, paths, .htaccess, etc.).
Clear communication and availability for adjustments after the migration if needed.
? Nice to Have (Optional):
Ability to optimize load time if something breaks during migration.
A short final report with what was done and any technical suggestions.
Experience with WordPress (some of the sites are built on WordPress).
