Mechanical Design and Product Structure

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with a world-leading automotive supplier
• Have proven knowledge and skills with all aspects of design and modeling (Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drafting)
• Understand mechanical design best practices in a context of digital continuity
• Have Ability to challenge the way of working and to propose solutions in compliance with the Siemens best practices
• Have knowledge on design for manufacturing (DFM) and different manufacturing processes including machining, welding, injection molding etc.
• Strong business expertise in engineering domains, advisor on design process, and on integration with authoring tools
• Management of libraries and standard components
• Master CAD part alignment (eBOM and CADBOM)

Other Key areas of expertise

• Knowledge of CATIA and/or NX
• TCiC and/or NX Integration
• NX Line designer is a plus
