METRC Sandbox API Testing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented freelance API Testing Specialist to undertake a comprehensive evaluation of various API endpoints provided by METRC. The specialist will be responsible for executing a series of predefined tasks and steps to validate the functionality within a sandbox environment as defined in our structured evaluation form.
Responsibilities:
API Testing Execution: Conduct thorough testing of 15 or so different tasks involving METRC API endpoints within a sandbox environment. Each task comprises 2-6 steps, requiring precise execution and validation.
Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document the test outcomes and fill out the provided Excel sheet with detailed verification for each step completed.
Final Reporting: Deliver the completed Excel sheets with all fields correctly filled. Provide a summary report detailing any challenges encountered, and the steps taken to resolve them.
Tools and Resources Provided:
API Access: User and Vendor API keys will be provided to facilitate full access to the Metrc API.
Testing Platform: While API endpoints are set up via POSTMAN (https://api-mt.metrc.com/Documentation/#getting-started_rest), the use of Postman is optional. Testing can be manually executed if preferred.
Support: Access to METRC's technical support for any API-related queries or issues. You will need to reach out personally to METRC support with the contact info we provide for any issues such as auth issues which will occur.
Deliverables:
The fully completed Excel sheet with results and verification's for each step of the test scenarios.
Attached is the excel sheet containing all the necessary steps and requirements to be completed.
