ÖMARKT – Geo Dropdowns & Fix Add Listing Form

Project: ÖMARKT marketplace platform.

Milestone goal:
Clean, fix and stabilize the current Add Listing system, especially the location logic, so listings can be created and saved correctly.

Scope of this milestone:
1. Implement dynamic location dropdowns for Austria:
Country → State (Bundesland) → City

2. Fix and clean the current Add Listing form logic.

3. Ensure the existing category system continues to work correctly together with the location system.

Requirements:
• When a user selects a state, the city dropdown must show only the cities of that state
• Clean any incorrect, conflicting or unused location logic in the form
• Ensure category + location + listing data are saved correctly
• Ensure the correct location appears on the published listing
• Ensure location filters work correctly when browsing/searching listings
• Keep the existing category structure working, but do not redesign category architecture in this milestone
• Works correctly on desktop and mobile
• Use the existing database structure where possible

Final result:
A stable Add Listing form where users can choose category, state, city, and publish listings correctly without errors.
