Interior 3D Sculpture Creation
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
PROJECT BRIEF — 3D SCULPTURAL OBJECT (FORM-FOCUSED)
Overview
I am looking for a 3D sculptor to create a sculptural object intended for interior use.
This is NOT character design, NOT game art, NOT NFT work.
The priority of this project is form, mass, silhouette, and sculptural presence — not textures or rendering.
Project Scope (First Stage)
• 1 sculptural object (test project)
• Type:
• statue OR
• wall-mounted sculptural object
• No textures required
• No cinematic renders required
• Clean, high-quality sculpt only
If the first object is successful, this project may expand into a long-term collaboration (multiple statues and wall objects).
⸻
Artistic Direction
• Sculptural, architectural feeling
• Calm dominance, not aggression
• Strong readable silhouette
• Clear hierarchy of forms:
• big shapes
• medium shapes
• restrained small detail
• Detail must emerge from form and structure, not surface decoration
Think:
• interior art object
• physical sculpture
• something that could realistically exist in space
Not:
• fantasy creature
• game character
• exaggerated expressions
• noisy or over-detailed surfaces
⸻
Technical Requirements
• High-resolution sculpt (ZBrush or equivalent)
• Watertight mesh
• Clean geometry suitable for physical production
• No textures
• No skin pores, noise alphas, or surface decoration
• Form must work in neutral material
⸻
References & Files (IMPORTANT)
I will attach two types of files:
Desired Direction
These files show the level of sculptural quality, form, and presence I am aiming for.
They communicate direction, not something to copy literally.
Rejected Example (DO NOT REPEAT)
I will also attach an example of a completed 3D sculpt that was rejected.
This rejected example clearly demonstrates:
• incorrect artistic direction
• incorrect understanding of sculptural form
• character / game-art approach instead of an object
Important:
The rejected example is not a matter of taste.
It is objectively incompatible with the goals of this project.
If your approach or style is close to the rejected example — this project is not a fit.
⸻
Budget
$800–1,200 USD for the first object
This is a test collaboration.
Quality, understanding of form, and discipline matter more than speed.
⸻
REQUIRED QUESTIONS (MANDATORY)
Applications that do not answer these questions will be ignored.
Relevant Portfolio
Please share ONLY relevant work:
• sculptural objects
• statues
• form-focused sculpts
Do NOT include game characters or creatures.
⸻
Form vs Texture
In your own words, briefly explain:
Why a sculptural object must work without textures.
(1–3 sentences)
⸻
Sculpting Workflow
Briefly describe your workflow:
• how you start a sculpt
• how you develop form
• how you approach detail
⸻
Physical Awareness
Have you ever created a sculpt intended for:
• 3D printing
• CNC
• casting
• physical production
If yes — explain briefly.
If no — answer honestly.
⸻
Rejected Example Analysis
After reviewing the rejected example, please briefly explain:
• what is wrong with it
• what you would do differently
(2–4 sentences)
⸻
Timeline
How long would it take you to complete one sculptural object like this?
(rough estimate is fine)
⸻
What Happens Next
• One artist will be selected for the first object
• If the result meets expectations:
• we continue with additional objects
• same artistic direction
• more efficient workflow
• long-term collaboration possible
⸻
Final Note
This project values:
• clarity
• restraint
• sculptural discipline
Not:
• visual tricks
• surface realism
• over-rendering
If this aligns with how you work — apply.
