Game VR Environment Development Artist

Job ID: 40132873

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I’m building a VR experience that lives or dies by how convincing its outdoors feel. I already have gameplay mechanics under control; what I still need are stunning, realistic natural landscapes—lush forests, craggy mountains, rivers, and clearings—that hold up at VR-scale and a steady 90 fps.

Here’s what I’m after:
• A fully-optimised environment scene (or modular set of scenes) built for either Unity or Unreal Engine, complete with PBR materials, baked lighting where appropriate, and sensible LODs.
• Source files for every asset you create (Blender/Maya, Substance, etc.) plus exported game-ready versions.
• A documented setup so I can drop the package into my existing project without breaking performance budgets.

Acceptance checks
• Average frame time under 11 ms on Quest 2 or equivalent PCVR target.
• No visible texture seams when scaled to human height in-headset.
• All foliage and rock assets share an instanced material setup to minimise draw calls.

I’m handling characters and props in-house, so your focus stays on the environments. If you’ve shipped realistic VR worlds before and enjoy squeezing every last polygon without losing the wow factor, let’s talk.
