LA Fusion 360 Prototype Support

Job ID: 40487233

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I need a hands-on Fusion 360 designer who can work with us here in Los Angeles to turn early concepts into physical PLA prototypes. Designer needs access to small printers—one FDM and one resin unit—so the work will balance on-screen design with in-shop test prints and quick iterations.

Scope of work
• Take rough sketches or STEP files I supply and build clean, fully-parametric Fusion 360 models ready for print.
• Optimize each part for my desktop FDM setup (PLA) and, when needed, adapt geometry for the resin machine.
• Join me for short, in-person sessions to troubleshoot tolerances, surface finish, and assembly fit. Remote edits between visits are fine as long as the printed results match the digital model.

Deliverables
1. Native Fusion 360 files (.f3d) with organized timelines and named bodies.
2. Printable STL files sliced for PLA on an Ender-class printer and, when required, pre-supported resin STLs.
3. One functional prototype of each part, printed on my machines and verified for fit.

Acceptance criteria
• Dimensions within ±0.2 mm of the spec.
• No unsupported overhangs beyond 60° in the PLA version.
• All moving features operate smoothly after first print.

If you’re local, comfortable with iterative prototyping, and quick in Fusion 360, let’s build some great hardware together.
