Fullstack Engineer needed for Ed Tech Startup

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Engineer for our ed tech startup based in Australia. You will be working with our CTO with more than 20 years of experience.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable and secure APIs using TypeScript, NodeJS and serverless backend services on AWS.
- Design and implement web application frontend using TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to define, design and ship new features.
- Optimise applications to ensure APIs and web applications are performant.
- Manage and deploy applications using AWS services.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.

Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB) and relational databases.
- Ability to design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Extensive experience with the React framework.
- Knowledge with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of cloud and application security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
