Freelance Shortform Video Editor & Animator Needed – Canadian Creators Only
Budget: $25 – $4,000 CAD
About Us:
Mobile Tech Lab is a growing Canadian tech brand producing short-form content for Instagram and Facebook Reels. We're building our content team and looking for a talented Canadian video editor and animator to work with us on a consistent, per-video basis.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll receive a script and raw clips from our marketing director — your job is to transform them into scroll-stopping Reels. Our content typically follows a storyline format (which performs best for us), but we're always open to fresh ideas and creative experimentation.
We're looking for a yield of 2 edited videos per week, plus occasional backup content to keep our posting schedule consistent.
You're a Great Fit If You:
- Are based in Canada
- Have experience editing short-form social media content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Understand current Instagram and Facebook Reel trends
- Can incorporate GIFs, motion graphics, and animations
- Know how to pace content to keep viewers hooked
- Bring energy and personality to every edit
