FreePBX SIP Trunk Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My FreePBX instance is up and running; what’s missing is a working connection to our traditional SIP provider. I need the trunk parameters entered correctly, outbound and inbound routes verified, and at least one test call placed to prove everything is stable.
You will receive the provider’s IP, authentication string, codecs required, and any registration details as soon as we start. Please handle:
• Creating the SIP trunk in FreePBX (PJ-SIP if possible, Chan-SIP only when necessary)
• Follow me
• Building simple inbound / outbound routes for a test extension I already have in place
• Tweaking NAT, firewall, and codec settings so audio passes cleanly in both directions
• Supplying a brief rundown of the steps taken so I can maintain the system myself later
SSH or the FreePBX GUI is available through a VPN; no port forwarding is required. Once the test calls complete without one-way audio or registration drops, the job is done.
