Fiddler Orchestra Parts Transposition
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m music directing a production of Fiddler on the Roof and need the complete set of orchestra parts for “Miracle of Miracles” moved exactly two half-steps lower than the original key. The cue is 68 measures long, and there are 15 individual parts. I will supply clean PDFs for every instrument; your task is to recreate each part in the new key while preserving every rehearsal letter, lyric cue, dynamic, articulation, and page layout detail so the musicians can sight-read without surprises.
Deliverables
• 15 print-ready PDFs, one for each instrument, transposed two half-steps down
• Notation and engraving consistent with the originals (system breaks, multimeasure rests, bar numbers, etc.)
Any notation platform—Sibelius, Finale, Dorico, MuseScore, or equivalent—is fine as long as the final PDFs meet professional pit-orchestra standards. All instruments are to be treated equally; no special cueing or octave adjustments are required beyond the uniform key change.
I’ll review each part against the originals to confirm accuracy, so precise transposition and faithful engraving are essential. If you can turn this around quickly and cleanly, let’s get started right away.
