Enhancing Sudoku Solver Algorithm Efficiency

I'm in search of an expert developer who has proficiency in Python. The existing project involves a sudoku solving algorithm that I want refined to increase its efficiency.
The code currently is quite small, and will provide a .ipynb with all the instructions and test cells that will test the efficiency.
The code itself is mostly done, however there are some error which I cannot detect that are causing it to fail.
