EARN WHILE YOU LEARN -- THE ART AND CRAFT OF SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHING FICTION AND AUTOBIOGRAPHY under the direction of Prof. Aaron Milavec
To begin with, you will learn how to revise and expand a short story that I wrote about how I suffered while my mother was slowly dying of cancer in our home. During this phase, you will be given a small stipend (US$ 10-50).
Then, when you are ready, you will move on to designing a cover for your story. You can’t judge a book by its cover—true enough—but an attractive and alluring cover does sell books. Initially, your story will be sold exclusively as “an ebook of outstanding merit” in my online book store [https://payhip.com/milavec].
Money is a form of gratitude. Readers who find excitement, wisdom, joy within your story will show their gratitude by buying your book and by sharing your book in their book circles.
Regarding royalties, I propose that, for the first hundred dollars, 90% of the book sales would go to you. For the second hundred dollars, you will take home 80% of your book sales. And so it will continue until you reach $500 in sales. Then, your royalty will be set at 40% of sales, and you will receive the following:
• a certificate of achievement as a master storyteller;
• the freedom to sell your book outside my book store;
• the right to train others in what you have learned from me.
Now a sober warning: Do not stop working because you imagine that I will be able to make you rich. The route toward becoming an internationally recognized writer is filled with blood, sweat, and tears.
Note: Six candidates will be chosen.
