About the Role:
We are a locally based business in the service industry. We serve a hyper-local area in the West Los Angeles area.
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to help improve our search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and drive measurable results. This is a freelance position with the potential for ongoing work depending on performance.
We want someone who knows SEO inside and out, stays current with algorithm updates, and can create and execute a real strategy that works.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and develop actionable strategies
Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, content, internal linking, site speed, etc.)
Identify and implement high-impact keywords
Create and manage backlink strategies (white hat only)
Monitor analytics and performance metrics to assess and adjust campaigns
Provide regular reporting with clear results and recommendations
Collaborate with content writers, developers, or other team members as needed
Requirements:
USA or Canada Based
Proven experience as an SEO specialist with measurable results
Strong understanding of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc.)
Up-to-date with current SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and best practices
Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Ability to work independently and take ownership of strategy
Strong communication and reporting skills
Experience with local SEO or e-commerce SEO
