Dockerizing next js 13.4 full stack project

I am using new app route of nextjs and While dockerizing nextjs 13.4 project, it is trying to connect to database ? why is it trying to connect to database while building ? is it due to my dockerfile? or my file structure? or what ? i wrote all my server api logic inside /src/app/api which also includes config folder which contains mongodb connect function and stuffs . I need solution asap
