Design Arduino car dash
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I am looking for a freelancer who can design an Arduino car dash. The dashboard should display the following information: Fuel, Oil pressure, Coolant temp, Trans temp, Volt, Block temp.
Using 6x SSD1306 mono displays running the U8G2 library. 6 Displays wired through a TCA9548A multiplexer.
Vehicle is a 12V system and all sensors run on resistance. These values will be supplied within a timely matter.
If additional hardware is required, please specify.
To run on a Arduino Mega.
Displays are 128x64. The display will be split in half. Bar graph 30x126pixels (centered in display). Gauge name centered under bar graph 30pixel high. This is the same for all 6 screens.
When button is pressed, screens will change from bar graph to digital (number) readouts in the centre of the top half of screen (where bar graph was), keeping name of gauge below. The number read out will have is value next to it. EG: PSI degrees, etc. Each time the button is pushed it should switch between the 2 options (bar graph and numbered read out).
Warning lights, which can work on 5V from Arduino are triggered at:
Fuel: 15L, Volt: 11v, Coolant temp: 95 degree c, Oil pressure: 5PSI, Trans temp: 110 degree c, Block temp: 95 degree c. These are separate from the screen.
Bar graph readings:
Fuel: 0-90L, Volt: 8-16V, Coolant temp: 0-150 degree c, Trans temp: 0-150 degree c, Block temp: 0-150 degree c, Oil pressure: 0-140PSI.
During start up of displays the word "TANK60" is displayed as large as possible and centered in the screen (128*64) for 3seconds on all screens.
Resistance measurements:
Fuel: 17ohm Full, 40ohm half, 120ohm empty.
Coolant temp: TBA
Trans temp: TBA
Block temp: TBA
Oil pressure: TBA
