Redesign 31 Figures & Deliver Print-Ready Hardcover Manuscript (Amazon KDP)
I'm publishing The Agentic Edge — a professional business book on AI and M&A for Wall Street executives — as a hardcover on Amazon KDP. The manuscript is finalized at 237 pages (6×9 inch trim) in .docx format with Garamond/Georgia typography, static table of contents, and asymmetric margins tuned for KDP rendering. The current version has passed KDP validation with zero errors.
The book contains 31 figures that need to be redesigned for hardcover print readability. The current figures were designed for screen viewing and the text is too small to read comfortably in print.
Part 1 — Redesign All 31 Figures

30 existing figures redesigned + 1 new figure created (current Fig 6.2 is a duplicate of Fig 6.1 and needs its own unique design)
All text clearly readable at 3.90" display width in a 6×9" hardcover
Preserve all original data and labels — nothing omitted
Consistent, sophisticated visual style appropriate for an executive/investor audience
Must work in both color (ebook) and grayscale (hardcover print)
Deliver editable source files (Figma/Illustrator) and a style guide documenting palette, fonts, and conventions

Part 2 — Assemble Print-Ready Manuscript

Replace all 31 images inside the existing .docx manuscript at the correct positions
Update image display dimensions to match new aspect ratios while maintaining 3.90" width
Verify and correct the Table of Contents page numbers (figure size changes will shift pagination)
Upload to KDP, generate a proof, and confirm the manuscript passes KDP validation with no errors
Deliver the final KDP-accepted .docx file ready for hardcover printing

Technical Requirements

Trim size: 6×9 inches, hardcover
Figure display width: 3.90 inches (all figures span the full text-block width)
Figure resolution: 300+ DPI (1400–1600px wide preferred), PNG format, sRGB, no transparency
Minimum text size: 8pt effective at printed display width
Manuscript format: .docx — the file has specific structural requirements for KDP (oddPage section breaks, asymmetric margins, static TOC, no VML, no field codes) that must be preserved
Platform: Amazon KDP hardcover

Figure Types Include: bar charts, area charts, scatter plots, infographic timelines, architectural diagrams, comparison tables, org charts, process flows, waterfall charts, and multi-panel frameworks.
Priority Breakdown: 8 CRITICAL (text unreadable at print size), 15 HIGH (hard to read), 4 MEDIUM, 1 LOW. A detailed spec sheet with per-figure descriptions, readability issues, and all original PNG files will be provided upon engagement.
Milestone Structure
