Building a blog page in drupal

We have an old site with an old skin and started to build a new one with a new skin. Unfortunately the blog part of teh new theme is quite...low quality. Using the appearance (fonts, buttons, etc.) of the new theme we would like to create a block for the main page offering articles (https://www.microbiota-transplant.com/en), a blog article page for the reader (https://www.microbiota-transplant.com/en/evidence-gastrointestinal-infection-sars-cov-2) and be able to offer tematic pages (https://www.microbiota-transplant.com/en/taxonomy/term/4). Most of the content from the old site has already been removed, but some is still there to show how it worked. On the new site blocks, views and templates should be created, taxonomy terms for categories and keywords will be set in at least 3 languages. If you need further info, please advise.
